An excellent restaurant near the Woodside area with some outdoor seating arrangements under the redwoods. It is better to make a reservation as I did not see an empty table until about 8:15 pm. The food was delicious and sufficient, but the service was a little bit slow. But we thoroughly enjoyed the evening under the tall trees.

Pretty good food and a bit pricey (like most places in this region). Definitely not warm and fuzzy like it used to be. Service was really minimal and lacking - really felt like the staff may have been stressed and unhappy. Overall experience left us wanting to leave as soon as possible (skipped drinks and dessert, etc). Here's hoping they can recover from whatever is happening.

We visited on Sunday night, they charged us for bread! If going to a upscale restaurant, complimentary bread to enjoy while sipping cocktails is pretty standard, so it's very unfortunate that they have cheapened themselves again by beginning to charge for bread. Last winter, they had signs out saying they would charge you for extra heaters around outdoor tables (!!). We have been dining at Parkside for many years, the waiters are wonderful and the food is excellent in general, but it is really disappointing to see them nickel-and-diming customers.

A great restaurant in a serene setting. If you can get a table amongst the redwoods it’s worth it. We’ve been here to celebrate birthdays or just go out with friends and family. We’ve liked just about everything we’ve tried. Only once was the service slow, but they were super slammed that night. The wait staff has always been cheerful and helpful.

What a cute restaurant! It's nestled among the redwood trees and feels very much like a cabin in the woods. Everything about the atmosphere embodies coziness and the staff is warm & welcoming. Please do yourself a favor - the next time you have friends or family in town, bring them here to really showcase what the area has to offer.

The most lively place to eat. Outside among the redwood trees w twinkling lights. Maitre D was so fun and helpful with our choices. Waiter spent time w us and forgave us our many questions and changes. Staff said good bye when we left. The door is excellent; the grilled artichoke was amazing in flavor and presentation. All four meals were outstanding and the chocolate decadence cake was over the top. Love this restaurant!

My go to spot whenever I am in town. The BEST restaurant in the area! Excellent service and food. Try the asparagus appetizer, pasta dishes, and arugula beet salad with pears!! The staff and hostess are top notch following COVID 19 protocols making me feel safe and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
